Serial includes Prologue and 16 episodes, which don't tie by common topic line. Per episode tells about fate of new personages from different social levels of emigrant community. There are specific information blocks which were brought in each episode to recover everyday problems of emigrants: the cost of habitation, looking for jobs, granted civic rights, organization of own business. This kind of information helps to understand emigrant situation in USA more deeply and doesn't divert viewers' attention from the main subject. MUZYKY - ethnographic film, that tells about traditional Carpathian music, which was born in ancient times and kept here till nowadays.

From parents to children pass gutsul's melodies from generation to generation. Camera group have to go on mountings in order to search places, where archaic, local melodies, instruments, songs (kolomyika, kolyadka, gayivka…) sound natural and organic, here carry traditional ceremonies. Such place present in Carpathian mounting, because inaccessible mountings help to keep local music culture from influence of modern civilization in some villages. It is possible to hear different ancient Carpathian music instruments in Muzyky film, from cult wooden kolotals and torohkals till pipes,floyars, trembits, among it is instruments, which make by modern masters and local songs: kolomyikas, kolyadka. Film introduce spectator with people, who play on these instruments and make it by own hands. They tell about ceremony and economy instrument purpose, quality and influences. There are not subtitles, there is direct connection between film heroes, amount molfar and priest, farrier and music teacher. They supplement each other, they make imagination about Carpathian music in general. Shooting carried within Christmas week from Christmas to Melanka. "Muzyky" - it is first film from the circle "Carpathian feature", which foresee making 5 documentary films - portraits inhabitants this mountain region.
